Why we built Aesthetic Vibes
Most home improvement sites on the open web treat you like a search query, not a person. They publish thin listicles, recycle the same product roundups, and bury the one thing you actually came for, which is whether something works and what it costs. Aesthetic Vibes exists because we got tired of that, and we figured a few other homeowners had too.
Every guide on this site is written by Malik Areeb Ahmed, a homeowner who has spent years renovating rooms, replacing fixtures, and breaking things in the name of learning how to fix them. Nothing here is a press release. Nothing here is rewritten from a manufacturer PDF. If we recommend a tool or a product, it is because we used it, measured it, and lived with the result long enough to know whether it holds up.
We also know that most people reading this are not professional contractors. You are a renter who wants to install floating shelves without losing the security deposit, a first-time buyer who just discovered the bathroom faucet drips, or a parent who would rather spend a weekend building a workbench than buying one at a big-box store. The writing here is for you.

The site is organized into two pillars. The DIY Projects pillar is where you will find tutorials, build guides, and skill-builders. The Home Improvements pillar covers larger renovations, maintenance, and upgrades that change how a space actually works.

How we choose what to write
We do not chase every trending keyword. Instead, we look for the questions that keep coming up in forums, in our own DMs, and in the search results that lead people to the site. If a topic comes back more than twice, it earns a guide. If a product is mentioned in three or more reviews, it earns a head-to-head comparison.
Every article is researched before it is written. We check current manufacturer documentation, recent code requirements where they apply, and at least one independent source for any technical claim. Prices are verified quarterly, because the one thing worse than an outdated tutorial is an outdated price tag. When something changes, we update the article and surface the update at the top.
